The 5 Must-Watch Games for the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2016: #1 Michigan Wolverines

The matchup between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines has become simply known as “The Game”.

Date: November 26, 2016.

Game Time: To be announced.

Location: Columbus, Ohio at Ohio Stadium

Why this game is worth watching:

A berth in the Big-Ten title game could be on the line– The Ohio State Buckeyes, Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans are all in the Big Ten East.  Since of those highly-touted teams will be playing in this game, there’s a good chance this one will have a little extra at stake.

The Buckeyes look to continue their dominance against the Wolverines– The Buckeyes have won four straight in this rivalry and 11 of the past 12 meetings.  People can mention the “what if” Michigan wins statement, but until it happens, this is a one-sided affair between two teams who can’t each other when they face off on Saturday.

Jim Harbaugh is entering his second season as head coach of the Michigan Wolverines– Not sure why the second year specifically has been so kind to marquee head coaches in many instances, but it’s worth noting when looking for valid reasons to believe Michigan will challenge Ohio State on the road in late November.

Key to the Game:

Ohio State and Michigan will have plenty of playmakers on the offensive side of the football.

The Wolverines have a play-making tight end in Jake Butt to compliment the wide receivers and the athletic Jabrill Peppers.

The Buckeyes, on the other hand will have Noah Brown, Dontre Wilson, Curtis Samuel and young players making a name for themselves throughout the season who will be capable of big-yardage plays on offense.

I envision this game being a battle of the trenches for the most part, with the squad that has the most explosive plays on offense as the key to victory.

Player Who is an X-Factor:

Jabrill Peppers– The hype is real for Jabrill Peppers at the University of Michigan.  Whether he’s playing linebacker, safety, running back or returning kicks, it’s apparent he’s likely the most versatile player in college football.

This is the type of game where Peppers can make a name for himself and change the outlook of this rivalry for years to come.  Expect him to make a noticeable impact on offense, defense and special teams in this game.

This game will finally live up to the billing again.  Expect plenty of drama for four quarters in this one and possibly some extra yellow laundry on the field.

I decided instead of moving somewhere else, I'd stay here in Columbus, Ohio and start a website that embraces what the 614 has to offer.
