Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Preview, Prediction and Analysis

The Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers will meet on the gridiron Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Each team is coming off a victory in Week 1.

Date: Sunday, September 18th

Game Time: 1:00 PM on CBS

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at Heinz Field

Why this game is worth watching:

Two Phenomenal Wide Receivers- A.J. Green and Antonio Brown are two of the best receivers in the National Football League.  Expect each to have a big performance and provide plenty of entertainment on Sunday.

It’s a division rivalry- First of all, try to say “It’s a division rivalry” as fast as you can ten times in a row… Now that you don’t sound really smart anymore, stick to reading the rest of this article.  This game could have major playoff implications and these teams don’t like each other.  Watch this game.

The Steelers will look to get after Andy Dalton- Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton was sacked seven times on Sunday against the New York Jets.  The Pittsburgh Steelers defense recorded zero sacks in Week 1 against the Washington Redskins.  Something’s gotta give.

Key to the game:

Big plays- The Bengals and Steelers each have a dominant receiver, making the big-play threat evident throughout the game.  Whichever defense is able to avoid the explosive plays from the opposition most, should win this game.

Player who is an X-Factor:

DeAngelo Williams- Williams had 26 carries for 143 yards on Monday night.  That’s a lot of carries for somebody who’s been in the league for over 10 years.  Williams’ performance on Sunday could make or break the Steelers on offense.

The Bengals were fortunate to escape with a victory over the Jets last week.  Their sense of urgency will benefit them when they head to Pittsburgh.  The Steelers on the other hand have been hearing about how good they are all week.  Those factors combined with the fact that running back Le’Veon Bell won’t be suiting up for the Steelers makes me believe the Bengals will improve to 2-0 in 2016.
