Over/Under: Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Indiana Hoosiers

The Indiana Hoosiers come to Ohio Stadium against an Ohio State Buckeye squad that’s heavily favored once again for plenty of reasons.  Here are our over/under predictions:

149.5 Yards From Scrimmage for Curtis Samuel

Under.  Samuel will  have an impressive performance against the Hoosiers, but he’ll be below his season average with a total of 125-140 yards from scrimmage in this game.

3.5 Passing Touchdowns for J.T. Barrett

Over.  J.T. Barrett will throw for exactly four touchdowns two straight weeks.  The Hoosier defense is better than Rutgers, but the Buckeyes simply can’t be stopped at home right now with Barrett at the helm.

1.5 Passing Touchdowns for Richard Lagow

Over.  Indiana will have a chip on their shoulder and come into Columbus, Ohio focused and ready to put up a fight.  Lagow throws for two touchdowns in this game.  That’s impressive considering Ohio State’s secondary is arguably the best in the country.

.5 Rutgers Receivers with 100 Yards

Over.  The Buckeyes defense has yet to give up 75 yards to a single wide receiver this season.  That changes Saturday, when either Nick Westbrook or Ricky Jones actually finishes the game with 100+ receiving yards.  It might take garbage time, but it still counts in the box score.

1.5 Interceptions for the Ohio State Defense

Over.  Lagow averages nearly 320 passing yards per game.  His confidence is pretty high after a victory over Michigan State last Saturday.  Expect him to take too many chances against the Buckeye secondary and throw at least a couple passes to the wrong team on Saturday afternoon.

I decided instead of moving somewhere else, I'd stay here in Columbus, Ohio and start a website that embraces what the 614 (and beyond) has to offer.
