CBJ Host The L.A. Kings, Seeking First Home Victory In The Month Of December

The Columbus Blue Jackets (16-12-2) will host the Los Angeles Kings (11-19-2) at Nationwide Arena on Thursday night. The puck drop is scheduled for shortly after 7:00 PM ET.

The Blue Jackets have had their fair share of struggles lately; losing their last three games at home and going a combined 0-11 in their last three contests on the power play.

Tuesday night’s 3-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks was odd, considering Columbus was generally happy with how they played despite the final result.  The Jackets tightened up defensively and seemed to control the pace in 60 minutes of action.

The Kings have been nothing special this season, and there’s no reason the CBJ shouldn’t earn two points in this game with Sergei Bobrovsky slated as the starting goaltender.

The only hiccup for the Jackets is that they’ll be without Josh Anderson.

Thursday evening is the perfect opportunity for the Columbus Blue Jackets to finally end their recent home slump and give their fans something to cheer about again.

I decided instead of moving somewhere else, I'd stay here in Columbus, Ohio and start a website that embraces what the 614 has to offer.
