Korpisalo & Co. Go For Fifth Win In A Row As The CBJ Head East To Face The Rangers

The Columbus Blue Jackets (21-12-3) will face the New York Rangers (15-14-6) tonight in Madison Square Garden. The puck drop is scheduled for shortly after 7:00 PM ET.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have been cooking up something special lately, going 5-0-1 in their last six games and head into tonight’s matchup riding a four-game winning streak.

There is a bit of a twist, however, as Sergei Bobrovsky won’t be the starter between the pipes. Bob has started in the previous six contests for Columbus, allowing a combined six goals in regulation. Instead, the Jackets will roll with Joonas Korpisalo and hope to get some solid secondary scoring beyond their dominant first line of Artemi Panarin, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Cam Atkinson.

The Rangers have been reeling lately, with a 1-3-2 record in their last six games, as they hope the Christmas Break was just what the doctor ordered to get them out of their recent funk.

The Columbus Blue Jackets will be in “The Big Apple” tonight with a showdown against the division rival New York Rangers. Let’s drop the puck already!

I decided instead of moving somewhere else, I'd stay here in Columbus, Ohio and start a website that embraces what the 614 has to offer.
